Robert MacKay Professional Business Services is a small firm providing accounting related services to small to mid-sized businesses on a contract basis. Can't afford a full time controller, but need the expertise of a Chartered Professional Accountant? We can put together an all inclusive package, which includes the expertise of a CPA combined with cost efficient bookkeeping, payroll, tax and related services. We are located at 60 Spring Lane, Charlottetown, PE. We also provide regular bookkeeping, corporate and personal tax preparation and other related services to the public through our companion business - Tax Plus.

Robert (Rob) MacKay is married to Tammy and has eight children. He likes to travel with his family and has a keen interest in information technology. Rob began his career working with a large tax preparation company in Charlottetown for nearly a decade. For the next two years, he worked as the controller for a non-profit organization in Summerside, after which he returned to university to pursue the Chartered Accountant designation. In 2006, he was granted the Bachelor of Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge and became a Chartered Accountant in April 2009. Two months later, he opened his own public accounting firm which, in 2017, evolved into two companion businesses - Tax Plus and Robert MacKay Professional Business Services. Rob recently completed a six year term as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Island Nature Trust. |
